Yet more coincidences.

This is a sort of pocket racing car, an F1 car's kid brother if you like. It's used (among other things) to allow people to have a go at driving a 'proper' racing car on a race circuit. I've used this fact a couple of times in the Saskia series of books, Saskia Chandler in particular is actually quite a good driver of cars like this (if you want to know more about why this is so, you'll have to read the books). All this culminates in book six actually being called 'The Race'. 'The Race' has just nicely been sent to the publisher and should should be available soon. Ok so far. Now for the coincidence. I've just spent the last few days at Brands Hatch circuit actually doing the TV coverage of motorbike racing, BSB to be precise. For one reason or another, I was still there on Monday, and the circuit was 'live', with a Race School event. On the circuit were several of these cars, some driven by girls. The sense of deja vue was quite strong, there were the Saskias driving round the circuit in the little cars - just exactly as I'd written in the book just sent to the publisher! That sort of thing makes the hair on the back of your neck stand up.
